

The Fort Lauderdale Latino Film Festival’s mission is to showcase emerging and established Latin creatives and filmmakers; by promoting the richness and diversity of our cultures and experiences. Celebrating through screenings, public discussion groups (both virtual and in person), workshops and special events.
The Festival will include screenings of groundbreaking works from all genres: short film, documentary, and full feature films.
The programs will engage South Florida’s diverse communities through the universal language of film and develop a new space where filmmakers, actors, producers can meet with other artists, engage with audiences and present and discuss innovative work.
We encourage and especially look for films by latin filmmakers that are:

Our inaugural event will premiere October 8 – 10, 2021 during National Hispanic Heritage Month in sunny Ft. Lauderdale!
